The Most forgotten places to clean in your house

We are the generation of surface cleaners. Having friends over? Quick, wipe down everything. Looks great and smells great but, what you don't see will start to expose itself gradually. What are the top overlooked places to clean in your home? 1. Faucet aerator. Twist off the top of your faucet head. Inside there is a little screen that catches debris from pipes. If that isn't kept clean it will eventually block water flow and what does come out will have gone through all that debris making it far from clean water that you drink, cook with and shower with. Yuk! Take a toothbrush and scrub it clean. Rinse it well and twist back on. 2. Chair legs. We expect them to be there when we need them. They are one of the most used pieces of furniture in a house. Have you ever tipped one upside down? They usually have built up of dirt, pet hair and grime. Take a textured cloth and a good all purpose cleaner and scrub away. Don't forget the rail the goes between the legs. When you are done take a soft cloth and do it again. Remember it probably won't be clean for a bit. 3. Inside Range exhaust hood. If you love to cook you probably do it a lot. When cooking on top of the range, usually butter or oil is used. That all gets sucked up into the vent. We all love when the outside of the hood is clean and shiny especially when it is stainless but inside we often forget to clean it. That causes blocking of the vent. If the grease can't go up the vent then it disperses all over kitchen walls. Now you have an even bigger cleaning problem. Take a cloth and good degreaser and clean it well inside and out. Your air quality will improve too. 4. Door and window casings. The top of these collect dust and webs. If you open doors and curtains what happens? All that dirt comes down little by little. It also makes a good breeding ground for mold. That can cost big repairs. Take a textured cloth with all- purpose cleaner and scrub them down. Then take a soft cloth and do it again. While there clean the walls around it. You don't want to breathe in all that dust. You will notice a big difference in the clean feel of the room. 5. Heating registers. Every time you wash your floors you are pushing dirt their way. Dust settles in blocking proper heating and costing more money. Vacuum them well the take a toothbrush and scrub them down. Follow up with a soft cloth and cleaner. You system will work better and you will have a warmer house. Don't feel you have to do these all in the same day. The deep cleaning takes time and energy. Do it one item at a time and the next time you have to do it the cleaning will be much easier.
